The six major areas of concern for this Board are: 1) Diversity; attracting a diverse and well qualified pool of candidates
who deserve consideration for appointment to the Academy. 2) Character Assessment: determining how psychological instruments
might be of value to the admission process. 3) Fiscal Requirements; addressing the Academy’s ongoing funding challenges in
areas such as civilian pay, athletics, infrastructure, and their training program. 4) The Accreditation Process: seeing how
the Board can become more engaged to support the Academies efforts. 5) Cadet Involvement; working with the Academy to instill
in the cadets a greater sense of ownership of the Cadet Honor Code and the Academy Training Process. 6) Admissions; reviewing
the Congressional nomination process and developing recommendation to increase Congressional involvement.
