The Defense Advisory Board serves to assist the National Chairman: a) in providing counsel to the Secretary of Defense about
issues concerning Reservists and their civilian employers; b) in providing assistance to The National Committee for Employer
Support of the Guard and Reserve (NCESGR) activities. In concert with the National Chairman, the Board recommends policies
and priorities for employer support actions and programs.
