Description There are sometimes a few proposals which were not funded in their entirety, those few being scaled back from their original level of requested funding (allowable under the program). The four agencies have implemented at least half of the recommendations. All indications are that the House Science Committee will change the agency responsible for leading post-earthquake investigations to NIST. The National Research Council was retained to develop a twenty-year roadmap for the research and implementation activities needed to support the goals and objectives outlined in the new Strategic Plan.
