- The Homeland Security Advisory Council exists to provide organizationally independent advice and recommendations to the Secretary
of the Department aiding in the creation and implementation of critical and actionable policy relating to the security of
the American homeland. The HSAC provides the Secretary the following advisory services: strategic view and advice, policy
development, coordination, implementation and force multiplication.
