- Citizens for Self-Governance Believes that there are four interrelated factors that need to be changed in order to restore
America’s luster as a respected, strong, stable, vital and helpful world citizen. If any one of these 4 changes is not achieved,
this vision is doomed to failure. These factors are: 1. To reduce the political inefficiency of a Right vs. Left, Republican
vs. Democrat paradigm. The focus should be ALL Citizens holding Incumbents accountable for their representation of us. 2.
To engage and increase involvement by American Citizens in the political process across all parties. 3. To disperse power
from the Federal and State Governments where appropriate, closer to those of us directly affected by the fiscal or policy
decisions made or legislated. 4. To end the cycle of incumbency. Make it practical for the citizens to replace legislators
at all levels of government when they don’t represent the will of the people.
