The Council will be at the forefront of emerging issues relevant to the field of organized philanthropy so that it can inform the development of new strategies. Along with other organizations, the Council will constantly seek, welcome and disseminate ideas to propel organized philanthropy to make the most of its resources.We will emphasize the skills necessary to yield innovation, creativity, wisdom, vision, boldness, integrity and influence.We will make decisions with sensitivity and responsiveness to members’ current and anticipated needs in the context of the Council’s capacity and strategic position.
