- The Advisory Board supports and promotes outreach to the constituents and stakeholders to expand NCCC involvement in the Corporation's
strategic intiatives. Under the Serve America Act the Advisory Board has an expanded role that involves helping to coordinate
activities with the Corps as appropriate, including the mobilization of volunteers and coordination of volunteer centers to
help local communities recover from the effects of natural and other disasters.
