Description For a variety of its own reasons not applicable to the Committee, the agency may implement all/most of the recommendations, but few times recommendations are not implemented. The Commission did a nation-wide study of school desegregation, the effect of desegregation court orders still in effect, and issued a statutory report on the issue. In fiscal year 2007, the US Commission subsequently did a statutory study that reported on the number of school districts nationwide still subject to school desegregation court orders.
