c.2: Across the Life Course
Maintain and further develop a high quality and accessible “across the life course” training and development programme, through:
i. submitting proposals to each future round of the ESRC’s Researcher Development Initiative; ii. maintaining links with AIM
for the duration of its existence to ensure co-ordination with its capacity building programme; iii. publishing a calendar
of training and development events for any one year during the preceding November; target date for publishing calendar, January
for 2008 and November in subsequent years iv. extending the pool of people able and willing to get involved in training and
development; v. involving, in particular, the BAM Fellows in training and development; vi. conducting an annual survey to
ensure BAM continues to provide training activities that are in demand, as well as identifying new opportunities through adding
additional questions into the conference feedback questionnaire.
