• Angela R. Burgess: Executive Director -- Angela R. Burgess has led the IEEE Computer Society since 2007. Under her leadership, the organization has launched a dynamic suite of compelling online products and services to meet the needs of today's computing professionals. She holds a bachelor's of science degree from Iowa State University and an executive master of business administration (MBA) from the Peter F. Drucker School of Management, Claremont Graduate University. Prior to being named Executive Director, Burgess served as Publisher for six years. An IEEE employee since 1985, she was the recipient of the IEEE Eric Herz Outstanding Staff Member Award in 2011 and the IEEE Computer Society Harry Hayman Award for Distinguished Staff Achievement in 2004.


• Anne Marie Kelly: Associate Executive Director & Director of Governance -- Anne Marie Kelly joined the IEEE Computer Society in 1988, and has previously served as its Director of Conferences, Director of Volunteer Services, and Acting Executive Director. During her career in nonprofit association management, she has held positions at the Director Marketing Association and National Conference of State History Preservation Officers. Kelly received an AB in American Studies with distinction from Georgetown University and holds an MBA from George Washington University. She is a Certified Association Executive (CAE) and Certified Meeting Planner (CMP). Kelly received the Computer Society's Harry Hayman Award for Distinguished Staff Achievement in 1999 and 2001.


• Evan M. Butterfield: Director of Products and Services -- Evan Butterfield has led the IEEE Computer Society's publications, conferences, and education operations since 2008, in addition to responsibilities for administrative services and the Los Alamitos facility. Previously, he was Vice President of Product Development and Publisher for Kaplan Professional in Chicago, and before that taught undergraduate English courses at George Washington and American University. Butterfield received his JD from DePaul University in Chicago, a master's degree in English and bachelor's degree in history and English at the University of Illinois at Urbana, and a postgraduate certification in educational technology from the University of Southern Queensland in Australia. He has written several articles (and co-authored a CS ReadyNote) on copyright law and intellectual property, and his photography has been published and exhibited internationally.


• Violet S. Doan: Director of Membership -- Violet Doan, a Certified Association Executive (CAE), has led the IEEE Computer Society's membership program since 2008, attracting, welcoming, and serving computing and IT professionals globally. Her work involves member development and engagement activities through over 400 chapters, sister organizations, and IEEE's global footprint. Previously, she was the Society's Director of Finance and Administration for 11 years and Director of Board and Administrative services. Early in her career, Doan worked in industrial and commercial real estate for Seeley Co. (Colliers-Seeley International Inc.) in Los Angeles. An IEEE employee since 1987 and recipient of the IEEE Computer Society Harry Hayman Award for Distinguished Staff Achievement, she holds a bachelor's of science degree from Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina, and a master of science in management from the University of Maryland.


• Chris Jensen: Director of Marketing and Sales -- Chris Jensen joined the IEEE Computer Society in November 2011. Her focus is on revenue generation, new products, and increasing awareness. Previously she was Vice President of Marketing for New Momentum, a Software-as-a Service (SaaS) organization. With a background in technology marketing and sales, Jensen has more than 15 years experience running marketing and sales for software companies that range from multinational enterprises such as IFS and Xerox to startups. She holds a bachelor's of science degree in psychology from St. John's University.


• Ray Kahn: Director of Information Technology and Services -- Ray Kahn has been in the technology field for the past 18 years. He attended the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business and graduated with a MBA. He is a husband and a father and enjoys living in Southern California.


• John G. Miller: Director of Finance and Accounting -- John Miller joined the IEEE Computer Society as director of finance and accounting in May 2006. A former Director of Finance for Bowne Business Solutions, a subsidiary of Bowne & Co., Miller previously held positions in accounting, financial planning, and analysis with multinational corporations, including Gulf Oil and Union Pacific Corp. His professional background also includes financial management positions with international law firms, including Paul Hastings, Pillsbury Winthrop, and Dewey LeBoeuf. Miller holds a degree in business administration/economics from Franconia College. A native of Cambridge, Ohio, he remains a Buckeye fan, but has lived most of his adult life along the Pacific Ocean.
