This Global Information Grid (GIG) Information Assurance (IA) Capability/Technology Roadmap document, together with several
other documents — including the GIG IA Reference Capability Document (RCD) — describe the IA component of the GIG. (U) The
GIG IA Capability/Technology Roadmap identifies the technologies needed to implement the GIG IA Vision, and it provides a
partial evaluation of current and in development technologies that can or will be able to support GIG needs.
