The following Open Government Plan is the first step in creating, maintaining and institutionalizing a plan for transparency,
participation, and collaboration for DHS operations. This document describes current resources that support Open Government,
shares insights received from public feedback, and identifies best practices to redefine relationships between the Department,
other government agencies, private sector organizations, and citizens.
