  • Douglas J. ManoniChief Executive Officer -- Douglas J. Manoni is the Chief Executive Officer of SourceMedia. Prior to joining SourceMedia, Doug launched and developed Wicks Business Information (WBI) in partnership with a private-equity firm, The Wicks Group of Companies. As founder and CEO of WBI, he was architect of the strategy and involved in all aspects of the company's operations, acquisition selection and integration. The business was sold in two principal transactions to Dow Jones & Company in 2004, and Summit Business Media, in 2007. Prior to forming WBI, Doug was COO and CFO of Cowles Business Media, Inc. (CBM), and subsequently held the position of CFO at Primedia Enthusiast Publications after CBM was sold to Primedia. Over his 10-year tenure with Cowles and Primedia, Doug helped acquire and manage a diverse media portfolio that comprised business-to-business and special interest consumer magazines, newsletters, databases, conferences and other specialized information products and services. Doug has managed approximately 60 transactions valued at over $750 million during his information publishing career. He is an active member of American Business Media and a frequent speaker at industry events. Doug graduated from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT, and completed The Management Development Program at the University of Connecticut. He enjoys spending time with his family, reading and walking the coastline of Rhode Island.

  • Rebecca KnoopChief Financial Officer -- Rebecca Knoop is SourceMedia's Chief Financial Officer. She joined the company in 2004 and since then has held numerous positions within the company's finance organization. Rebecca's prior experience includes serving as an executive in finance at ExactTarget, a global Software-as-a-Service leader that provides on-demand software for permission-based email, mobile, and social media marketing. She also worked in public accounting at PricewaterhouseCoopers in New York. Rebecca is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York and the State of Indiana. She holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from Indiana University. Rebecca enjoys running and has completed three marathons with The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Team In Training to raise money in support of finding a cure.

  • Karl ElkenEVP & Managing Director, Banking & Capital Markets -- Karl Elken joined SourceMedia in June 2010 as Executive Vice President & Managing Director of the Banking & Capital Markets Group. With 23 years of experience in management, strategic planning, business development and sales operations, he is responsible for the growth and profitability of more than 60 online, print and live event media assets, for brands such as American Banker, Bank Technology News, The Bond Buyer and Mergers & Acquisitions. Prior to his current role at SourceMedia, Karl was Senior Vice President of Sales at The Taunton Press where he lead all digital and print sales efforts for franchises that included Fine Homebuilding, Fine Cooking, Fine Woodworking, Fine Gardening, Threads and Craftstylish. Karl spent the previous 10 years at Ziff Davis Media in a variety of sales management and publisher roles. When he left in 2007, he was the Vice President & Group Publisher of eWeek, CIO Insight and Baseline as well as a member of the executive management team. In the early years of his career, he spent time at International Data Group, Mac Publishing LLC, CMP Media and Lehman Brothers. Karl received his BS in International Business & Finance from Northeastern University. He lives in Connecticut with his wife and two teenage children.

  • David LongobardiEVP & Chief Content Officer -- David Longobardi is Chief Content Officer of SourceMedia. In that role, he oversees the company's editorial activities for all brands, assuring quality and alignment with its overall mission. David led the consolidation of SourceMedia's editorial operations in 2008 - 2009, increasing collaboration among brands, identifying best practices, and advancing a shift of resources from print to digital media. David was previously Editor in Chief of American Banker, the flagship of SourceMedia and its predecessor Thomson Financial Media. In that position, he oversaw an expansion of American Banker's online presence and the introduction of brand extensions and events, including American Banker's Morning Scan, the Banker of the Year Awards and the FinTech 100, the standard ranking of vendors to banking companies. During his tenure, American Banker won American Business Media's Jesse H. Neal National Business Journalism Award. Prior to joining American Banker, David was publisher and editorial director of Securities Industry News, a paid-circulation weekly and conference business. Before that, he was editorial director at Waters Information Services (now a unit of Incisive Media), where, among other things, he edited Waters magazine and managed a group of financial technology and market data newsletters. David is a member of ABM's editorial council. He has been a speaker and writer on financial issues and trends, under the auspices of American Banker and in other forums, including conferences, general-interest and business publications, and news programs. He holds a bachelors degree from Harvard College and a masters in journalism and mass communications from New York University.

  • Bruce MorrisEVP & Managing Director, Professional Services & Technology -- With more than 35 years of expertise in management, strategic planning, sales, and business development, Bruce is Executive Vice President & Managing Director of SourceMedia's Professional Services and Technology business units, where he is responsible for the day to day growth and profitability of over 70 online, print and live event media assets, including such brands as Financial Planning, Employee Benefit News and Accounting Today. Prior to his current role at SourceMedia, Bruce was COO of Louise Blouin Media (LBM) where he was responsible for the day to day operations LBM's magazine, book and online media and data businesses, including such brands as Art+Auction and ARTINFO. Prior to LBM he was SVP and General Manager of Jupiter Online Media, where he oversaw operations of over 150 websites over four online networks, including internet.com and Mediabistro. Many of Bruce's demonstrated accomplishments in online, print, live event product development and international business stem from his 14 years at Thomson Financial (now Thomson Reuters) and successor company SourceMedia. Bruce joined Thomson in 1992 as Executive Vice President of Securities Data Publishing and was named its President & CEO in 1995. When he left in 2006, he was the President of its SourceMedia Banking Group. Prior to Thomson, Bruce's early career spent time with Lebhar Friedman, Fairchild Publications (now a part of Condé Nast) and Investment Dealers Digest, Inc. Bruce received his BS in marketing from The Pennsylvania State University and has attended post graduate executive management and business development training at the Johnson School at Cornell University and INSEAD Fontainebleau, France.

  • Adam ReinebachEVP, Marketing Services -- As EVP of Marketing Services, Adam is responsible for setting the strategic direction and managing the profitability and day-to-day operations of what functions as SourceMedia's inside ad agency. The Marketing Services group handles over 500 projects a year for an elite group of financial services clients, ranging from research and lead generation to custom content and digital solutions. Based on his prior positions managing sales, marketing, editorial and technology, Adam brings a unique skill set to marketing services. Currently he also manages the inside sales effort for subscriptions and events as well as circulation marketing. Prior to this role, Adam ran business development and technology, and he began his career at SourceMedia in 2006 as the Group Publisher for the Capital Markets Group, where he launched several M&A products and transitioned a number of print products online, among other accomplishments. Prior to SourceMedia, Adam was a Vice President at Thomson Financial, where his responsibilities included serving as publisher of the private equity group and running the research and data group at Venture Economics. Adam started his financial services career as a reporter for Investment Dealers' Digest, where he covered capital markets and helped launch the Deals of the Year program. Previously, Adam was a reporter at a daily newspaper in Jersey City, NJ. He is a graduate of Rutgers University and lives in New Jersey with his wife and three children.

  • John DelMauroSenior Vice President, Conferences & Events -- John DelMauro has more than 12 years of sales and management experience in the financial B2B media industry. John is currently responsible for the conferences and events business at SourceMedia which produces more than 60 events annually across the financial services industry. John's prior role at SourceMedia was as Group Publisher of the Banking and Payments group. In this position he was responsible for managing advertising sales and circulation development for SourceMedia's flagship daily newspaper, American Banker, as well as U.S. Banker, Bank Technology News, PaymentsSource, ISO&Agent and Collections & Credit Risk. Earlier in his career, John held sales positions in the conferences and exposition division of Thomson Media, SourceMedia's prior owner, and was the Vice President of Sales at RFID Journal, a technology media company. John holds a BS in Psychology from St. John's University.

  • Ying WongSenior Vice President, Human Resources and Office Management -- Ying Wong is Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Office Management. With more than 16 years of experience as an H.R. professional in financial B-to-B media, Ying has supported SourceMedia's recruitment, retention and training initiatives as the company has shifted its focus to digital media and marketing. She is responsible for the strategic direction, policy development and administration of all aspects of human resources, including compensation, benefits, and organizational effectiveness. Prior to joining SourceMedia, Ying served in numerous leadership positions at Thomson Financial (now Thomson Reuters), where she managed and participated in initiatives including acquisition integration and corporate restructuring. Ying has also held managerial positions at American International Group and The Deal LLC. She is a member of American Business Media's Talent Management Committee. Ying is a graduate of New York University and Baruch College. She earned her masters in human resources management from New School University and senior professional human resource designation from the HR Certification Institute.
